The workshop on “Technological and business innovation services for the local action groups in agri-food sector”, organized by LAG “Terra dei Trulli e di Barsento” and the Order of Agronomists and Forestry Doctors of the Province of Bari in the framework of the TAGs project, will take place on 1st October from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm in Sammichele di Bari, at Caracciolo Castle.

The workshop focuses on the of latest innovations related to the precision agriculture sector (from technical and technological tools, to new methodologies and process strategies), their effects within the experimentation carried out in the two pilot fields of the TAGs project and the new opportunities for Apulian SMEs in relation to the national and regional plans on Agriculture 4.0.
The event, after the welcoming speech from Stefano Genco, President of LAG “Trulli and Barsento”, and Lorenzo Netti, Mayor of Sammichele di Bari,continues with different deep technical Focus and with the participation of Giacomo Carreras, President of the Order of Doctors Agronomists and Forestry Doctors of the Province of Bari and Giuseppe De Mastro, Associate Professor of Agronomy and Herbaceous Cultivation of the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”.
The workshop, held in a free double form, both in presence and online (through Zoom platform), is addressed to farmers and technicians of the Apulian agri-food sector and those interested in increasing their knowledge in the field of precision farming and Agriculture 4.0.
